Suit Care
Airing
We recommend you air your garments from time to time which allows the creases to fall out. Airing the suit allows perspiration moisture to dry which lessens the need to frequent dry-cleaning.
Rotating
Rotate your suits as often as possible to allow the fabric to breathe between use. This will help in reducing the build up of perspiration moisture, which eventually deteriorates the fabric. Wool is naturally elastic. Resting wool garments for one day between use will allow the garment to retain its shape.
Brushing
We have recommended brushing and thoroughly ventilating wool clothing after wearing, to remove surface soils and allow fabrics to relax. Brushing is the best method of dust and lint removal, which if left can seriously spoil the cloth, and contribute to premature deterioration of the garment. For the best results we recommend using a natural bristle clothes brush.
Pressing
Have your suit pressed to remove creases rather than dry cleaned. This will help by minimizing the amount of cleaning solvents the fabric is subjected to. Should your garment require pressing, we recommend that you use a reputable dry cleaner that we can organize for you, and ask for a press service only.
Hanging
It is preferable to hang the garment on the original hanger, and this will ensure the shoulder line and chest shape is retained throughout the life of the garment. Try to avoid an overcrowded wardrobe as crushing may occur - hanging this wool garment in a steamy bathroom from time to time in order to relax and refresh the garment.
Dry-Cleaning
When dry-cleaning it is important to use a reputable dry-cleaning specialist. Sub-standard dry-cleaning can be damaging to the life of the product. Excessive heat, poor quality chemicals and excess moisture used by inexperienced cleaners will ruin the fabric and interlining construction of the garment.

The above tips are recommended for wool products only. For non-wool fabrics or blends, please consult a quality professional dry-cleaner.
